So, it's again been quite some time since I've blogged. To be honest, I just haven't felt like it. I have spent the last few months reflecting, keeping myself busy, and loving on my sweet, sweet family. Hopefully, very soon, I can back post some pictures and family activities.
We celebrated our sweet baby girl's 2nd birthday on Saturday. Because this little one loves Minnie Mouse, why not have a Minnie Mouse party. Leyton's favorite activity is jumping around. She's like a little kangaroo. Or a Tigger. or a bouncy ball. She just loves to jump. Some very sweet friends let us use their bounce houses and we had a Minne Mouse bouncy house kind of party. All of our sweet family and friends came over for hot dogs and a grand ol' birthday goodtime. Thank you to all of you that joined us in celebrating our Leyton. She enjoyed every minute.
Leyton has just moved up to the 2 year old class at daycare. She has started potty training. That is a whole new experience. Gone is the running out the door or really long car rides. We are on the potty a lot :)
She has lots and lots of energy and loves to talk. However, if she doesn't know you...in comes Miss Bashful. Two years has also brought trying times for mommy and daddy. Time out has been introduced at our house along with other disciplinary measures. whew... the Lord has heard a lot from us the past few months. Thank goodness for warmer weather coming to let loose on all this pent up energy.
